Frequently Asked Questions

Does it require drilling to install?
Yes, for maximum safety and to securely support the weight of heavy pots and glass lids, the sliding track should be mounted with screws directly to the underside of your solid wood cabinets.

Will this hold a heavy cast iron skillet?
While the rack is incredibly sturdy and perfect for standard stainless steel pans, non-stick skillets, and glass lids, extremely heavy cast iron skillets may exceed the recommended weight limit for smooth sliding.

How much vertical space do I need?
You will need enough clearance between your countertop and upper cabinets to accommodate both the total drop-down height of the rack and the diameter of the largest lid or pan you plan to store in it.
